What's New

  • March 1, 2015: The first lidar campaign in 2015 was conducted from January 15 to February 2.  The beam steering was installed successfully, which allows off-zenith measurement for the horizontal wind.  A total of over 100 hours of data on 16 nights were collected.  The lidar were operated in zenith-only mode on 10 nights and in zenith and off-zenith mode on 6 nights. This is the first time horizontal wind were measured after the Toptica Laser upgrade in May 2014. The next campaign is scheduled to be from April 10 to April 27, 2015.
  • July 11, 2015: Fabio arrived at ALO on July 10 to start the July campaign. All components of lidar system are in normal condition. The weather is cloudy on July 11 so no data was taken.
  • July 12, 2015: The data for April 2015 campaign are now available. Download them by clicking on the date.
  • Mar 2, 2015: All plots and data are up-to-date. The current campaign plots and data are being posted as they become available.
